Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor complex computer systems, networks, and peripherals in a critical industrial environment.
- Perform routine system checks, data backups, and maintenance tasks efficiently.
- Monitor system performance, identify anomalies, and troubleshoot minor operational issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of operational procedures and system logs.
- Respond to system alerts and escalate critical issues to relevant technical teams as required.
- Ensure strict adherence to data integrity, security protocols, and operational standards.
Requirements
- Technical Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Computer Operator or in a similar IT operations role.
- Proficiency in operating various enterprise operating systems such as Windows Server and Linux.
- Demonstrated experience with data backup, recovery procedures, and system monitoring tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and provide on-call support.
