Key Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic sourcing and procurement activities for critical military vehicle programs.
- Manage supplier relationships, negotiations, and contract lifecycle effectively.
- Ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and services for programs.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and program management teams to align procurement strategies.
- Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities and supply chain efficiencies.
- Mitigate supply chain risks and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in program buying or strategic procurement, preferably in the defense or aerospace manufacturing industry.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Excellent understanding of supply chain principles and best practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and suppliers.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is highly desirable.
