Key Responsibilities

• Ensures cleanliness of all washing up and cleaning machinery and that equipment is in proper working order.
• Cleans, washes and dries all items processed through the dishwashing area, using the machinery, equipment and products provided.
• Cleans kitchen including floors and halls as directed.
• Sorts refuse into appropriate bins and takes refuse bins to refuse area for disposal/collection.
• Maintains a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene through efficient work practices.
• Attends training sessions and / or departmental meetings if and when assigned.

Requirements

• At least 2+ years experience as kitchen stewarding is essential.
• Vigilant and aware of individual responsibilities of HACCP.
• Good knowledge and understanding of the kitchen.
• A friendly, polite, and courteous nature.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Passionate about maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
