Key Responsibilities
- Perform precise alterations, repairs, and mending on various garments for guests and hotel staff.
- Maintain a high standard of quality and attention to detail in all tailoring work.
- Ensure the cleanliness and proper maintenance of all tailoring equipment and the workshop area.
- Assist with fitting sessions for new staff uniforms and make necessary adjustments.
- Manage inventory of tailoring supplies and materials, reporting needs as they arise.
- Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests for tailoring services.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Tailor, Seamstress, or similar role.
- Proficiency in operating industrial and domestic sewing machines.
- Strong knowledge of different fabrics, garment construction, and repair techniques.
- Exceptional attention to detail and precision in handiwork.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
- Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
