Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert technical advice and strategic guidance for mine action operations in Syria.
• Develop and implement robust technical methodologies to enhance operational efficiency and safety.
• Ensure strict adherence to international humanitarian mine action standards (IMAS) and best practices.
• Conduct thorough technical assessments and quality assurance checks on all field activities.
• Support the training and capacity building of local staff in advanced technical procedures.

Requirements

• Demonstrated technical expertise in humanitarian mine action, explosive ordnance disposal, or a related field.
• In-depth understanding of International Mine Action Standards (IMAS) and their practical application.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
• Proven ability to work autonomously and as part of a team in challenging and complex environments.
