Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the technical operations and maintenance of port and terminal equipment.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency.
- Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of technical staff and engineers.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety standards, quality protocols, and environmental regulations.
- Coordinate with various departments to optimize resource allocation and project completion.
- Prepare comprehensive technical reports, performance analyses, and budget forecasts.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a technical superintendent or similar leadership role within the transportation, logistics, or marine industry.
- Strong knowledge of heavy machinery, port equipment, and industrial systems.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement effective solutions.
- Relevant technical qualifications or a degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Marine).
