Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive technical support for all media equipment and facilities, including audio-visual, camera, and editing suites.
  • Instruct students in practical media skills, software applications, and production techniques.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair media hardware and software to ensure operational readiness.
  • Assist in the development and enhancement of media-related curriculum content and learning materials.
  • Ensure a safe, functional, and effective learning environment for all media students and staff.
  • Manage the inventory of media resources and facilitate their proper and efficient use.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Media Production, Broadcasting, Educational Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in media technical support, instruction, or a professional media environment.
  • Proficiency with industry-standard media software and hardware, including editing suites, cameras, and audio equipment.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and pedagogical skills with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively and provide timely solutions.
  • Prior experience in an educational or higher education setting is highly desirable.
