Women Cyber GO is seeking a Technico-Commercial professional to join their team in Yaoundé, Centre, Cameroon. This role involves promoting cybersecurity culture among women and engaging them in technical and cybersecurity fields.

Company Overview

Women Cyber GO is a community of digital women dedicated to promoting cybersecurity culture among the female gender. Initiated due to the low involvement of women in digital and cybersecurity technical roles, and high rates of cybercrime victimization among women (70% according to ENIX statistics, with only 2% of women trained in cybersecurity), the community aims to raise awareness among 300 women on good security practices and encourage 20 women to get more involved in cybersecurity fields.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote Women Cyber GO’s mission and cybersecurity culture to a female audience.
• Engage with potential participants for awareness campaigns and training programs.
• Develop and maintain relationships with community members and partners.
• Support the organization of conferences and events, like Women CyberGo 2021.
• Assist in increasing female participation in digital and cybersecurity technical roles.

Requirements

• Passion for promoting cybersecurity awareness and women’s empowerment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in French.
• Ability to engage and persuade diverse audiences.
• Proactive and results-oriented approach to community building.
• Basic understanding of digital literacy or willingness to learn.
