Key Responsibilities

  • Perform precise topographical and dimensional surveys within tunnel and civil engineering environments.
  • Operate and maintain specialist surveying equipment, including total stations, GPS, and laser scanners.
  • Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to set out tunnel alignments and structures accurately.
  • Monitor ground movement and structural deformation during tunnelling operations.
  • Prepare detailed survey reports and ensure data accuracy for project progress and quality control.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure efficient and safe execution of surveying tasks.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Tunnel Surveyor or similar role in civil engineering or tunnelling projects.
  • Proficiency in using advanced surveying instruments and software.
  • Strong understanding of trenchless technology and underground construction methods.
  • Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and technical specifications.
