Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate and maneuver a vacuum truck for material transfer and waste removal.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, ensuring the vehicle is in good working condition.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and site regulations in a mining environment.
- Maintain accurate logs of operations, mileage, and materials handled.
- Report any equipment malfunctions, incidents, or safety concerns promptly.
- Ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of the vacuum truck and associated equipment.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with appropriate endorsements for operating heavy vehicles.
- Proven experience as a Vacuum Truck Operator, ideally within a mining or heavy industrial setting.
- Strong understanding of vehicle mechanics, maintenance, and safety procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in challenging conditions.
- Physical fitness to perform demanding tasks and work long shifts as required.
