Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic vehicle procurement plans to meet business objectives.
  • Manage and cultivate strong relationships with vehicle suppliers, both locally and internationally.
  • Negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and contracts for all vehicle acquisitions.
  • Monitor market trends, analyze purchasing data, and forecast future demand.
  • Oversee inventory levels and optimize procurement processes for efficiency.
  • Ensure strict adherence to all relevant automotive regulations and company policies.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in vehicle procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate complex contracts and build robust vendor relationships.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in market research and data interpretation.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management capabilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of the New Zealand automotive market is highly advantageous.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
