Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and monitor vessel arrivals, departures, and movements within the port area.
  • Communicate effectively with vessel captains, pilots, and other port authorities.
  • Manage berth allocation and ensure optimal utilization of terminal resources.
  • Resolve operational issues and adjust schedules as necessary to maintain efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records of vessel activities and dispatch logs.
  • Adhere to safety regulations and environmental guidelines for port operations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a dispatch or logistics coordination role, preferably in a port or shipping environment.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and make quick, informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in relevant dispatch software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong understanding of maritime operations and safety procedures.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
