Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive export control and sanctions compliance programs.
  • Provide expert guidance on complex international trade regulations, including US ITAR, EAR, and EU sanctions.
  • Oversee global compliance efforts, ensuring adherence across all business units and geographies.
  • Conduct internal investigations and risk assessments related to export control and sanctions.
  • Lead and mentor a team of compliance professionals.
  • Represent KONGSBERG in interactions with regulatory authorities and external partners.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience (10+ years) in export control and sanctions compliance in an international context.
  • Deep understanding of relevant laws and regulations (e.g., US, EU, UN).
  • Proven leadership abilities and experience managing high-performing teams.
