Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive export control and sanctions compliance programs.
- Provide expert guidance on complex international trade regulations, including US ITAR, EAR, and EU sanctions.
- Oversee global compliance efforts, ensuring adherence across all business units and geographies.
- Conduct internal investigations and risk assessments related to export control and sanctions.
- Lead and mentor a team of compliance professionals.
- Represent KONGSBERG in interactions with regulatory authorities and external partners.
Requirements
- Extensive experience (10+ years) in export control and sanctions compliance in an international context.
- Deep understanding of relevant laws and regulations (e.g., US, EU, UN).
- Proven leadership abilities and experience managing high-performing teams.
