Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sophisticated quantitative models for volatility and derivatives pricing.
  • Design, backtest, and optimize quantitative trading strategies, particularly in volatility arbitrage.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of market data to identify trends, risks, and profitable trading opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with traders and portfolio managers to integrate quantitative models into live trading systems.
  • Perform rigorous research on new methodologies, financial instruments, and market anomalies.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of quantitative strategies, making adjustments as necessary.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Volatility Quant or in a similar quantitative finance role (5+ years preferred).
  • Expertise in derivatives pricing models, stochastic calculus, and time-series analysis.
  • Strong programming proficiency in Python, C++, or similar languages, including experience with relevant libraries.
  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working with large datasets and high-performance computing environments.
