Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, implementation, and monitoring of WASH programs in humanitarian and development contexts.
  • Ensure all WASH activities adhere to Save the Children’s technical standards and national policies.
  • Effectively manage program budgets, resources, and reporting for WASH projects.
  • Provide technical support and capacity building to WASH field teams and partners.
  • Collaborate with local authorities, community leaders, and other humanitarian organizations.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with donors and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Proven professional experience in designing, implementing, and managing WASH programs.
  • Strong technical knowledge in water supply, sanitation, and hygiene promotion in emergency or development settings.
  • Excellent project management, coordination, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in challenging and diverse multicultural environments.
  • Commitment to Save the Children’s values, child safeguarding policies, and mission.
  • Fluency in English and working knowledge of French (or relevant local languages) preferred.
