Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough welding inspections in accordance with relevant industry standards (e.g., ISO, ASME, AWS) and client specifications.
  • Monitor welding processes and procedures to ensure compliance with quality and safety regulations.
  • Prepare detailed inspection reports, documenting findings, non-conformances, and corrective actions accurately.
  • Verify material traceability and ensure proper documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate effectively with welding teams, engineers, and project managers to maintain high quality standards.
  • Ensure strict adherence to all relevant health, safety, and environmental guidelines on-site.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Welding Inspector, preferably at a mid-senior level (5+ years).
  • Hold relevant professional welding inspection certifications (e.g., CSWIP, AWS CWI, EWE/IWE).
  • Strong understanding of welding codes, standards, and inspection techniques across various materials.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for reporting and stakeholder collaboration.
  • Ability to accurately read and interpret complex engineering drawings and welding procedure specifications (WPS).
  • Commitment to upholding the highest standards of safety, quality, and integrity in all inspection activities.
