Key Responsibilities
- Monitor premises and personnel to prevent theft, violence, or rule infractions.
- Patrol industrial or commercial areas to deter and detect intrusions, ensuring the security of all access points.
- Respond promptly to alarms and investigate disturbances or suspicious activities.
- Conduct regular welfare checks on staff, reporting any concerns or issues as appropriate.
- Write comprehensive reports on daily activities, irregularities, and any incidents encountered.
- Ensure strict compliance with all company safety and security procedures and policies.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a security officer or in a relevant security-related position.
- Ability to operate and monitor various detecting systems and emergency equipment.
- Solid understanding of basic security procedures, protocols, and best practices.
- Excellent surveillance and observation skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities for effective interaction.
- High school diploma or equivalent; security training and certifications are a distinct advantage.
