Key Responsibilities

• Enforce city zoning ordinances, building codes, and related regulations through investigations and inspections.
• Respond to and investigate complaints regarding potential zoning and code violations.

• Prepare detailed reports, document findings, and maintain accurate records of all enforcement activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to interpret and apply complex zoning ordinances, building codes, and municipal regulations.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with the public and preparing reports.
• Possession of a valid Texas Driver’s License and ability to operate a vehicle for field inspections.
