Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough environmental impact assessments for renewable energy projects.
- Ensure stringent compliance with national and international environmental regulations and standards.
- Develop and meticulously implement environmental management plans for RES projects.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary project teams to integrate environmental best practices.
- Monitor environmental performance, analyze data, and prepare comprehensive regulatory reports.
- Participate actively in stakeholder consultations and public hearings regarding environmental matters.
Requirements
- Degree in Environmental Engineering or a closely related scientific field.
- Proven, significant experience in environmental management within the renewable energy sector.
- Strong knowledge of Greek and European Union environmental legislation and permitting processes.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team environment.
- Fluency in both Greek and English is essential for this role.
