The AML Compliance Officer will be responsible for implementing and maintaining effective AML programs, monitoring transactions, conducting investigations, and ensuring regulatory reporting requirements are met.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop, implement, and maintain AML and sanctions compliance policies, procedures, and programs.
    • Monitor customer transactions for suspicious activity using transaction monitoring systems and tools.
    • Conduct enhanced due diligence (EDD) and customer risk assessments, including for high-risk customers.
    • Investigate suspicious activity and prepare Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) or equivalent reports, as required.
    • Provide AML training and awareness sessions for staff across relevant departments.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Law, Business, or a related field (Master’s or JD preferred).
    • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in AML, compliance, or financial crime risk management.
    • Strong understanding of global AML regulations (e.g., BSA, USA PATRIOT Act, EU AMLDs, FATF guidelines).
    • Excellent analytical, investigative, and communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
