Masdar is seeking an Assistant Manager for Internal Audit Assurance in Development and Value Creation. This role involves leading internal audit engagements to ensure Masdar’s internal controls promote efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage technical audits covering key business functions and the Investment Life Cycle (ILM).
  • Manage the audit team to ensure work is performed per quality requirements and timelines.
  • Review and approve Risk Control Matrices (RCMs) prior to and during fieldwork.
  • Manage client relationships and develop action plans based on audit satisfaction surveys.
  • Support in follow-up audit engagements on agreed management actions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Engineering.
  • At least 8 years’ experience in auditing/advisory of Business Development & M&A transactions.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good knowledge of internal auditing and accounting principles.
  • Good knowledge of industry program policies, procedures, regulations and laws.
