Key Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed quantity take-offs and measurements from architectural and engineering drawings.
  • Prepare accurate cost estimates for various building construction projects.
  • Analyze project specifications, scope, and technical documents to ensure precise calculations.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and suppliers to optimize project costs and resources.
  • Assist in the preparation of tender documents and participate in contract administration.
  • Monitor and track project expenses, providing regular budget updates and forecasts.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to read and interpret complex construction drawings and specifications.
  • Proficiency in relevant estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
  • Understanding of building construction methods, materials, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration.
