Key Responsibilities
- Perform detailed quantity take-offs and measurements from architectural and engineering drawings.
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for various building construction projects.
- Analyze project specifications, scope, and technical documents to ensure precise calculations.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and suppliers to optimize project costs and resources.
- Assist in the preparation of tender documents and participate in contract administration.
- Monitor and track project expenses, providing regular budget updates and forecasts.
Requirements
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Ability to read and interpret complex construction drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency in relevant estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Understanding of building construction methods, materials, and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration.
