Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections and oversight for a diverse range of structures, including concrete and steel buildings, facades, bridges, and more.
- Lead investigations into structural failures, such as concrete cracks, monopole collapses, and bridge incidents, turning insights into actionable solutions.
- Design and implement repairs and rehabilitation strategies for existing concrete and steel structures, extending their lifespan and enhancing performance.
- Perform comprehensive condition assessments, including remaining lifetime estimations, to guide strategic decision-making for asset management.
- Execute and interpret field tests like core sampling, chemical analysis, and ultrasonic pulse velocity to deliver accurate building evaluations.
- Develop and refine standard civil inspection procedures; review and approve key documents.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
- At least 7 years of hands-on experience in civil inspections, QA/QC, with a proven track record in structural integrity.
- Strong leadership skills to guide teams effectively, combined with an organized, proactive, and methodical approach.
- A valid driving license (mandatory), with preference for candidates who have their own vehicle for on-site mobility.
- Fluency in Arabic is a plus.
