Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of customer accounts to ensure timely collection of outstanding payments.
- Communicate with customers via phone, email, and mail to follow up on overdue invoices.
- Resolve payment discrepancies and issues by collaborating with sales and customer service teams.
- Reconcile customer accounts and maintain accurate collection records.
- Prepare regular reports on collection activities and account status.
- Adhere to company credit policies and collection procedures.
Requirements
- Proven experience in collections, accounts receivable, or a similar financial role (minimum 2 years).
- Strong communication and negotiation skills for effective customer interaction.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in financial software and MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
- High level of attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to handle difficult conversations while maintaining professionalism.
