Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain robust compliance policies and procedures.
• Monitor changes in local and international regulatory frameworks affecting the insurance sector.
• Conduct regular compliance reviews and risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities.
• Provide expert advice and training to staff on compliance matters and ethical conduct.
• Act as a primary liaison with regulatory bodies and external auditors regarding compliance issues.
• Investigate and report any compliance breaches or suspicious activities promptly.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a compliance role, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry.
• Strong understanding of local regulatory requirements (e.g., CBB rules) and international compliance standards.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex regulations and implement practical solutions.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with all levels of staff and external stakeholders.
• Professional certifications (e.g., CCO, ACAMS, ICA) are highly desirable.
