Key Responsibilities
- Lead and actively participate in all phases of incident response, including investigation, containment, eradication, and recovery.
- Conduct thorough analyses of security incidents to identify root causes, vulnerabilities, and recommend effective preventive measures.
- Develop, implement, and continuously refine incident response plans, policies, and standard operating procedures.
- Provide expert guidance and consultation on cyber security best practices, risk mitigation strategies, and threat intelligence.
- Collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to enhance overall security posture, resilience, and compliance.
- Prepare comprehensive post-incident reports and presentations for technical and executive stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proven experience in managing and responding to complex cyber security incidents and breaches.
- Strong understanding of incident response methodologies, digital forensics, and threat intelligence frameworks.
- Proficiency with various incident response tools, security information and event management (SIEM) systems, and forensic platforms.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills to effectively address security challenges.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
- Relevant industry certifications such as GCIH, CISSP, CEH, or equivalent are highly preferred.
