Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage all WeWorld Onlus programs and operations within Mozambique. Develop and implement country strategies in alignment with the organisation’s global mission. Oversee project management cycles, ensuring effective planning, execution, and monitoring. Build and maintain strong relationships with local partners, government authorities, and stakeholders. Ensure compliance with WeWorld Onlus policies, donor requirements, and local regulations. Represent WeWorld Onlus at national and international forums and coordination meetings.

Requirements

Proven experience in project management and leadership roles within the non-profit sector. Demonstrated experience in development cooperation, particularly in African contexts. Strong understanding of issues related to poverty, inequality, and sustainable development. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage diverse teams and foster a collaborative working environment. Proficiency in English; knowledge of Portuguese is highly desirable.
