Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and monitor customer credit accounts to minimize financial risk.
  • Oversee debt collection activities, ensuring timely payments and adherence to company policies.
  • Conduct credit assessments for new and existing clients to determine creditworthiness.
  • Reconcile accounts and resolve any billing discrepancies or payment issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of all credit control activities and communications.
  • Collaborate with sales and finance teams to ensure smooth order-to-cash processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field.
  • Proven experience in a credit control or accounts receivable role, preferably within the logistics or shipping industry.
  • Strong understanding of credit management principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in financial management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
