Data Center Engineer

Job Overview

Tenth Revolution Group is establishing a state-of-the-art new data center in Blönduós, Iceland, to support the next generation of digital infrastructure. We are looking for 3 experienced Data Center Engineers to join our onsite team. You’ll play a vital role in building, maintaining, and optimizing the mission-critical systems that power our secure, reliable, and sustainable IT services.

Job Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain servers, networking, and storage equipment
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and minimize downtime
• Implement and manage cooling, power, and environmental monitoring systems
• Manage cabling, racking, and data center layout according to best practices
• Oversee hardware lifecycle management (installation, upgrades, decommissioning)
• Ensure compliance with security, safety, and industry standards
• Collaborate with IT, facilities, and project teams for scaling and optimization
• Participate in on-call rotations to provide rapid incident response

Requirements

• Proven experience in data center operations, IT infrastructure, or network engineering
• Strong knowledge of server hardware, virtualization, and storage technologies
• Familiarity with data center environmental systems (power, cooling, fire suppression)
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work under pressure
• Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills
