Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the M-Pesa Finance function, overseeing financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting. Develop and implement financial strategies to support the growth and profitability of M-Pesa services. Ensure strict adherence to financial regulations, reporting standards, and Vodafone group policies. Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to M-Pesa and senior leadership. Drive financial performance through effective cost control, revenue assurance, and risk management. Build and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.

Requirements

Extensive leadership experience in finance, preferably within the fintech or telecommunications sector. Demonstrated expertise in financial management, strategic planning, and performance analysis. Strong knowledge of relevant financial regulations and accounting principles. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities. Proven ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and drive complex financial projects. A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is required.
