Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the M-Pesa Finance function, overseeing financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support the growth and profitability of M-Pesa services.
- Ensure strict adherence to financial regulations, reporting standards, and Vodafone group policies.
- Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to M-Pesa and senior leadership.
- Drive financial performance through effective cost control, revenue assurance, and risk management.
- Build and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
Requirements
- Extensive leadership experience in finance, preferably within the fintech or telecommunications sector.
- Demonstrated expertise in financial management, strategic planning, and performance analysis.
- Strong knowledge of relevant financial regulations and accounting principles.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and drive complex financial projects.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is required.
