Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of electrical systems and installations to ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and specifications.
- Verify the quality of materials and workmanship for all electrical components on site.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports, noting any deficiencies or non-compliance issues.
- Collaborate with project engineers, contractors, and clients to resolve inspection findings promptly.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations during all inspection activities.
- Provide technical guidance and support regarding electrical installations and standards.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical inspection or a related field, preferably in large-scale engineering or construction projects.
- In-depth knowledge of local and international electrical codes, standards (e.g., NEC, IEC), and safety regulations.
- Ability to interpret complex electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical specifications.
- Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail for identifying compliance issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with diverse project teams and clients.
- Proficiency in preparing detailed reports, documentation, and managing inspection records.
