Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of electricians, ensuring efficient execution of electrical projects and maintenance tasks.
- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment in accordance with safety standards and codes.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential hazards or issues and implement corrective actions promptly.
- Collaborate with project managers and other departments to plan and coordinate electrical work schedules.
- Provide technical expertise and training to team members, fostering skill development and adherence to best practices.
- Manage inventory of electrical materials and tools, ensuring adequate supplies for ongoing operations.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical work, with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
- Demonstrated expertise in electrical codes, safety regulations, and troubleshooting complex electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, capable of managing a diverse team.
- Physical ability to perform duties in various conditions, including lifting and working at heights.
- Relevant electrical certifications or licensure is required.
