Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive EHS policies, procedures, and training programs in line with local and international regulations.
- Conduct regular EHS audits, inspections, and risk assessments across all properties to identify potential hazards.
- Investigate all EHS-related incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and recommend effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure all properties comply with environmental permits, licenses, and reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with management and staff to foster a strong safety culture and promote EHS awareness.
- Monitor EHS performance, analyze data, and report on key metrics to senior management.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Environmental Health Safety Specialist, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- In-depth knowledge of EHS regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Strong analytical skills for conducting risk assessments and incident investigations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills for training and stakeholder engagement.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and demonstrate strong organizational skills.
- Relevant professional certifications in EHS (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) are highly desirable.
