Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee daily accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and reports in compliance with local regulations and IFRS.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, reconciliation of accounts, and month-end/year-end closing procedures.
- Liaise with auditors and tax consultants to ensure compliance with all statutory requirements.
- Handle intercompany transactions and reconciliations for various subsidiaries within the group.
- Communicate effectively in Arabic with clients, suppliers, and internal departments as required.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a General Accountant, preferably in the construction or investment industry.
- Fluent in Arabic (speaking, reading, and writing) is mandatory for this role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards (IFRS).
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
