Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and inspections on diesel and gas generators.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system faults in generators.
- Conduct repairs, component replacements, and overhauls as necessary to ensure operational readiness.
- Maintain detailed service records, logs, and documentation for all maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies during operations.
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to resolve complex technical issues.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in generator maintenance or a similar field.
- Strong understanding of generator components, engines, alternators, and control panels.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical diagrams.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and test equipment.
- Relevant technical diploma or vocational certification in electrical or mechanical engineering.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
