Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and servicing of various generator types.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and control system issues in generators.
- Conduct timely repairs and replacements of faulty components to ensure operational efficiency.
- Ensure all work adheres to safety standards, company policies, and relevant regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used.
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients and team members regarding generator operations.
Requirements
- Technical diploma or vocational certificate in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Generator Technician, preferably within industrial or commercial settings.
- Solid understanding of generator operating principles, including diesel and gas engines, alternators, and control systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and service manuals.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for electrical and mechanical faults.
