Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive pre- and post-test genetic counseling for diagnostic genetic testing.
• Assess genetic risk through detailed personal and family history evaluation.
• Interpret and communicate complex genetic test results to clinicians and patients.
• Support informed clinical decision-making by addressing medical, psychological, and ethical aspects.
• Prepare and maintain accurate clinical documentation and genetic counselling reports.
• Participate in case reviews, variant discussions, and continuous professional development.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or equivalent diploma in Genetic Counselling related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in reproductive genetics, rare diseases, or oncology genetics.
• Valid DHA or DOH license (or eligibility) is required.
• Fluency in Arabic and English is mandatory.
