Key Responsibilities
- Conduct internal audits of field operations and cash transfer processes to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Manage and oversee field teams responsible for recipient identification and payment distribution.
- Develop and implement robust control measures to safeguard funds and maintain program integrity.
- Monitor program implementation, identify risks, and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to senior management.
- Ensure adherence to GiveDirectly’s operational standards and donor requirements.
Requirements
- Proven experience in internal audit, financial oversight, or field operations management, preferably within the non-profit sector.
- Strong understanding of financial controls, risk management, and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in challenging field environments and diverse cultural contexts.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing abilities.
- Fluency in Portuguese and English.
