    Key Responsibilities

    • Conduct internal audits of field operations and cash transfer processes to ensure compliance and efficiency.
    • Manage and oversee field teams responsible for recipient identification and payment distribution.
    • Develop and implement robust control measures to safeguard funds and maintain program integrity.
    • Monitor program implementation, identify risks, and recommend corrective actions.
    • Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to senior management.
    • Ensure adherence to GiveDirectly’s operational standards and donor requirements.

    Requirements

    • Proven experience in internal audit, financial oversight, or field operations management, preferably within the non-profit sector.
    • Strong understanding of financial controls, risk management, and compliance frameworks.
    • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in challenging field environments and diverse cultural contexts.
    • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing abilities.
    • Fluency in Portuguese and English.
