Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage CESVI’s humanitarian and development programs in Libya, operating from Tunisia.
  • Ensure effective operational management, security, and financial oversight of the mission.
  • Represent CESVI with donors, partners, local authorities, and other stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement country strategies and annual plans in line with organizational goals.
  • Oversee staff management, capacity building, and team welfare within the mission.
  • Monitor and evaluate project implementation, ensuring quality and accountability.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role within a humanitarian or development organization.
  • Strong understanding of humanitarian principles, international aid, and donor relations.
  • Excellent leadership, strategic planning, and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken; knowledge of Arabic or Italian is an asset.
  • Ability to work effectively in complex and challenging security environments.
  • Relevant academic background in international relations, development studies, or a related field is preferred.
