Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the global payment strategy for all booking platforms, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Oversee all payment operations, including processing, reconciliation, and fraud prevention, to ensure efficiency and security.
  • Identify, evaluate, and implement new payment methods, technologies, and partnerships to enhance the customer experience.
  • Manage relationships with payment providers, financial institutions, and other key stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with international payment regulations, data security standards, and industry best practices.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of payment specialists and managers.

Requirements

  • Proven experience (10+ years) in payment operations, management, or financial services, preferably within the travel-tech or e-commerce sector.
  • Strong understanding of global payment ecosystems, regulations (e.g., PCI DSS), and fraud management strategies.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and optimizing payment gateways, processors, and alternative payment methods.
  • Exceptional leadership, analytical, and strategic thinking skills with the ability to drive change.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with internal teams and external partners.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
