    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement comprehensive risk management strategies across all Trust services.
    • Oversee and manage the Trust’s risk register, ensuring accurate reporting and mitigation plans.
    • Provide expert advice and guidance on risk-related matters to the Board and senior management.
    • Lead incident investigation processes and ensure lessons learned are integrated into practice.
    • Promote a strong risk awareness culture throughout the organization.
    • Ensure compliance with national and local risk management standards and regulations.

    Requirements

    • Extensive experience in risk management, preferably within a healthcare or NHS setting.
    • Proven leadership skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
    • Strong understanding of clinical governance, patient safety, and regulatory compliance.
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work strategically and operationally in a complex organizational environment.
