Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the wigs, hair, and makeup department for all entertainment productions.
- Develop and implement creative designs and concepts for performers and characters.
- Oversee budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation for the department.
- Recruit, train, and mentor a team of talented hair and makeup artists.
- Ensure all designs meet artistic standards and technical requirements for performances.
- Maintain inventory and ensure proper care and maintenance of all equipment and products.
Requirements
- Extensive experience (10+ years) in a leadership role within wigs, hair, and makeup for live entertainment or theatrical productions.
- Demonstrated expertise in diverse hair styling, wig application, and makeup techniques.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Portfolio showcasing creative design and technical proficiency.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a production environment.
