Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures in line with local regulations and company standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and recommend corrective actions.
- Provide health and safety training to all hotel staff.
- Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training.
- Collaborate with management and departments to foster a strong safety culture.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Health and Safety Officer, preferably in the hospitality sector.
- Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with staff at all levels.
- Ability to conduct effective training sessions and incident investigations.
- Certification in occupational health and safety (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
