Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies and procedures for all infrastructure and road projects.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, determining root causes and recommending corrective actions.
• Provide comprehensive HSE training and awareness programs to project teams, contractors, and workers.
• Prepare and maintain accurate HSE documentation, reports, and records as per regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate closely with project managers and stakeholders to integrate HSE requirements into project planning and execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Environmental), Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as an HSE Engineer, specifically within infrastructure and road construction projects.
• In-depth knowledge of local (UAE) and international HSE regulations, standards, and best practices.
• Possession of relevant HSE certifications such as NEBOSH IGC, IOSH Managing Safely, or equivalent.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to safety.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as a vital member of a multidisciplinary project team.
