Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor HSE policies and procedures on construction sites.
- Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify hazards.
- Ensure compliance with local and international health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and recommend corrective actions.
- Deliver HSE training and awareness programs to site personnel.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive HSE documentation, reports, and records.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an HSE Officer, preferably within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and standards (e.g., OSHA, NEBOSH, IOSH).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with all levels of staff.
- Ability to conduct thorough risk assessments and implement effective control measures.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficiency in English is essential; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
