Key Responsibilities
- Install, calibrate, and maintain a wide range of industrial instrumentation and control systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in pneumatic, hydraulic, and electronic control circuits.
- Read and accurately interpret technical drawings, P&IDs, and wiring diagrams.
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, quality standards, and operational procedures.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on instrument systems to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate effectively with engineering and production teams on project execution.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Instrument Fitter, preferably within oil & gas, marine, or manufacturing sectors.
- Strong understanding of instrumentation principles, control loops, and calibration techniques.
- Ability to interpret and work from technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Demonstrated commitment to adhering to all health, safety, and environmental guidelines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
