Key Responsibilities
- Research and specify appropriate materials, finishes, and furnishings for interior design projects.
- Develop detailed material boards and specification documents for various projects.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and clients to ensure design intent and technical requirements are met.
- Assist in preparing presentations and design proposals for client review.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new materials, and sustainable design practices.
- Manage and organize the materials library and samples effectively.
Requirements
- Entry-level experience in interior design or a related field.
- Basic understanding of design principles, materials, and construction methods.
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop) is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
