Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for joinery and interior fit-out projects.
- Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to determine scope of work.
- Source and obtain competitive quotes from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Collaborate with the design and project teams to ensure accurate estimates.
- Manage the tendering process and submit bids on time.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of material costs, labor rates, and market trends.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Joinery Estimator or similar role, preferably 5+ years.
- Strong knowledge of joinery materials, construction methods, and fit-out processes.
- Proficiency in estimating software and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical, mathematical, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
