Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for various library systems.
- Assist users with system-related inquiries and resolve technical issues promptly.
- Maintain and update library software and hardware components as needed.
- Ensure the smooth operation and optimal performance of all library system functionalities.
- Communicate effectively with library staff and users in both Arabic and English.
Requirements
- Proven experience in IT support, systems administration, or a similar role.
- Familiarity with library-specific systems (e.g., Integrated Library Systems, discovery layers) is highly desirable.
- Fluent in Arabic and English, both written and spoken, for effective communication.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to diagnose and fix technical problems.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a professional team environment.
- Relevant technical certifications or a degree in Information Technology/Library Science is a plus.
