IOM Indonesia is seeking a Local Consultant CC-2026-09 to join their team in Yerevan, Armenia. This role will involve providing specialized expertise and support for projects and initiatives related to migration management in the local context, aligning with IOM’s global mission.

Today, IOM Indonesia is one of the largest IOM missions in the world, with over 300 staff members located across the country and working on a wide range of activities in partnership with the Government of Indonesia, civil society, and the donor community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert consultancy on local migration issues, policies, and dynamics in Armenia.
  • Support the planning, implementation, and monitoring of IOM Indonesia’s projects.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis to inform programmatic strategies and interventions.
  • Facilitate effective stakeholder engagement with local government, civil society, and communities.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports, assessments, and policy briefs on migration management topics.
  • Ensure all activities adhere to IOM’s principles of humane and orderly migration.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in consulting or project work, preferably in the humanitarian or development sector.
  • Strong analytical, research, and report-writing skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for diverse stakeholder engagement.
  • In-depth knowledge of migration dynamics and the socio-political context in Armenia.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and deliver high-quality outputs.
  • Commitment to the mission, vision, and values of the International Organization for Migration.
